Key Initiatives​
The RGV H.I.R.E.S. Job Fairs are a key DCC-RGV initiative designed to create real, practical solutions for both job seekers and employers across the Rio Grande Valley. These events connect employers with a strong, diverse talent pool—including individuals with disabilities and those without—because we believe opportunity grows when everyone is seen for their skills, potential, and work ethic.
Through this platform, DCC-RGV helps strengthen the regional workforce by building direct pathways to employment, encouraging inclusive hiring practices, and promoting workplace cultures where people can thrive. We bring together employers, community partners, and job seekers around shared values—access, dignity, and economic opportunity for all.
